How to change your booking link

Your slug is editable, but link changes break old shares — here's how to do it safely.

Your booking link uses your slug — the part after /w/ in the URL. Slugs can be changed but old links will 404 unless you set up a redirect first.

Safe change

  1. Open Account → Business Info.
  2. Edit the slug field. Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  3. Tick "Set up redirect from old slug" before saving.
  4. Save. Old shares now redirect to the new URL for 90 days.
Note: Update your Google Business Profile, social bios, and email signatures with the new link the same day. Redirects are a safety net, not a long-term plan.
